How long does it take to get listed on Kidzworld?

Once you have paid and emailed us the content for your listing, it will take 48 hours for us to add your listing. You will then need to approve your listing before we add in the live links.

Can I add more pictures?

Yes, when you upgrade your listing. A standard plan permits 6 pictures, a premium plan permits 9 pictures and a deluxe plan permits 12 pictures. View our rate card.

How do I let people know about my specials?

Your specials will be posted in the "Overview" section of your directory listing. Your specials will also be posted on our "Latest Specials" page which is linked from the home page and from our "Family News & Updates" eNewsletter. Specials are also tweeted via our Twitter Page. All advertisers may utilise our specials page at no additional cost. You can submit your special via our online Specials submission form.

How do I feature in the newsletter?

We have two monthly e-newsletters. The entertainment newsletter is sent out on the first working day of the month and the updates newsletter is sent out on the 15th of the month. For banner advertising please see our rate card.

All new advertisers will be featured under new listings in our updates newsletter in the first month they are live on the site. The most interesting news items and the best special offers will be selected to appear in this newsletter as text links. All other specials and news items will be posted on our specials page or news page which is linked to our newsletter and home page.

Any events submitted will appear in our events calendar with a link via our entertainment newsletter.

How do I run a competition?

All advertisers are permitted to run competitions with us. You need to submit a competition request through our competitions form to book a competition slot. You will receive exposure through your competition form via a link on our competitions page and on our two monthly newsletters.

You will receive the entry forms by email on about the 10th of the following month. You will then be required to select the winner(s), contact him/her/them and arrange to send him/her/them the prize(s).

Please remember to advise us of the winner’s details so that we may publish them on the site. We will include on the entry form, a check box which the entrants can tick if they opt in to receive future updates or newsletters from you.

Can I add a press release to the press office?

Yes if you have selected a standard, premium or deluxe plan. If you have selected a basic plan you will need to upgrade to a higher plan. A standard plan is permitted 2 news items, a premium is permitted 4 news items and a deluxe plan is permitted 6 news items. Please submit your news item via our online News submission form.

Can I add an event to the events page?

Yes. All advertisers are permitted free text entries on our events page. All you have to do is submit an event to us through our events form.

Can I link to your website from mine?

Yes. Please visit our link to us page for instructions on how to create a link to our web site from yours.

How do I obtain the page impressions for my listing?

You need to email us and request these.

How do I check if www.kidzworld.co.za is driving traffic to my web site?

Check your web stats with your web site designer or the company that hosts your web site. They will be able to tell you the name of the top web sites that are referring traffic to your web site.
